The cardiologist – pediatric cardiologist – embryocardiologist Dr. Seretis Aristides maintains his private practice in Pefki.

The doctor graduated from the Medical School of Ioannina, where he received a scholarship for excellent performance in 6 years of studies. He completed his residency at Sismanoglio Hospital, where he worked for an additional year as a cardiology specialist. Subsequently, he worked as an attending cardiologist at Children’s Hospital “Panagiotis and Aglaia Kyriakou”. He was retrained with a scholarship of the Hellenic Cardiology Society in the Department of Pediatric Cardiology and Congenital Adult Heart Diseases at the Onassis Heart Surgery Center and continued as a specialist with special interest in Fetal Cardiology for another 3 years. He then went on a fellowship for further training in Fetal Cardiology at the Royal Brompton & St.George’s Hospital in the UK.

He has also received specialization in the newest ultrasound techniques (Stress-Echo, transesophageal ultrasound, 3D techniques), at Sismanoglio Hospital. He holds the European Diploma in Cardiology and is certified in all ultrasound techniques for all ages by the European Association of Cardiology and European Paediatric Cardiology (EACVI-AEPC certified).

He holds a PhD in Cardiovascular Disease Epidemiology from the University of Ioannina, with publications in major international journals.
